Cisco Umi (pronounced YOU-I) is a telepresence system requires a combination of hardware and users of Cisco hardware and need to possess. Umi service include a Cisco camera broadcast in high definition with an integrated microphone, a decoder and a remote control, but users must provide their own connection to HDTV (1080p) and the Internet to use. No external microphone, but audio quality can be recalibrated. Cisco algorithms remove background noise outside and bring the voices of users in the foreground.
Video calls and video messages are at the heart of Umi service, but the remote control will also allow customers to manage their contact list, profiles and configurations. In addition, Umi recorded videos can be uploaded to Facebook and YouTube, or attached to an e-mail.
