PlayStation Network to go down for maintenance

online gaming service Sony’s PlayStation Network, will be offline for scheduled maintenance time of 20:05 UAE on Wednesday 9 March 2011 until 07:00 on Thursday, March 10, 2011 in the UAE U.S., Australia, New Zealand, Great Britain and Ireland.

During maintenance, the services available are PlayStation Store for PS3 and PSP, PlayStation Network account management and PlayStation Network Account Registration.

Users will also not be able to log in eu.playstation.com PlayStation ® Network.

According to Sony’s PlayStation blog, if users want to play online during maintenance, they must log on PlayStation ® Network before 20:05 on Wednesday, March 9, 2011.

During this maintenance, users will be able to pick up the trophies in the game, which will be updated in your profile once the PlayStation Network is back up and running.

Last week, Sony PlayStation revealed an error of the largest units of PlayStation 3, which affect the models before the PS3 Slim launched in 2009.

“We believe we have identified this problem is being caused by an error in the functionality of the clock built into the system,” Sony said on its official PlayStation blog on 1st March.
